Fall is in the air.

You know autumn is around the corner when grapes start popping up in earnest. Dark-skinned, musky grapes are my personal favorite, and I get pretty excited when they appear at the markets. I bought two pounds and have been eating them, ice cold from the fridge, all week.

Go get yourself some. You won't regret it, I promise.

I like your spirit Meghan.
One of the reasons why i like to read what you have to say..really
you are as enthusiastic about summer as you are about fall.
I really admire that.
Way to go.

Wonderful photo! I totally regret not buying grapes when I was at the supermarket, this morning. ;)

@solitude: Thank you so much! One of the things I love about NYC is that we truly have four distinct seasons - I'm always excited when one starts to turn into the next.

@Louisa: They are so delicious - more like candy than like fruit.

@Erin: Thanks! Oh my goodness, they were delicious. I always forget how much I love grapes, until I have them in the house and can't bring myself to eat anything but.

Gorgeous photo--I love those dark blue, almost wine-y tasting grapes too!
